Born in the Netherlands below sea level it was important to keep afloat most if his life.

Sailing from a young age he later joined professional racing teams around the globe. Yachting career came in a later date with the  first captains job was on a classic William Fife yacht in 1993. Many yachts and sea-miles  followed and Queen Nefertiti is a crown piece on his career.

First Mate / Engineer

Originally from Brittany in France were most famous corsairs were born he had no choice to follow a sailors path. 

With many adventures including Atlantic and Pacific crossings he is a extremely knowledgable person and always devoted to make sure the yacht is ready for passage making.

 

Ayu Kasih

Chef / Stew

Ayu spend most of her balinese life in the import export business and traveled the Asian and European countries to Promote the traditional Indonesian art.

A change in life came when she met Timo and they both decided being on Queen Nefertiti would be a new challenge but with her smily serving character and food skills she complete the crew team perfectly.

Edwin Flores

Deckhand

Edwin started with us during the rigging refit in the winter 2023 and was quickly accepted on board due to his competence in maintaining and eye for detailing.

Growing up near Manilla in the Philippines and with his Asian kindness he is always willing to go and make sure everything is running smooth on board
