San Remo to Montenegro

Finally after 7 months of our first refit we sailed out to make our first voyage.
The sailing went smooth as there has been a favorable weather pattern.
Passing Messina after 3 days and smooth cruising all the way to Tivat in Montenegro

Montenegro to Venice
16 April-19 April 2022
Leaving Montenegro the weather forecast was a strong bora wind from the NE .
We did notice this as we were caught in a force 11 and so forced to keep very close to Croatia islands to not have heavy seas.
Entering Venice was as any sailor dreamed of and mooring on the quay next to the Marco Polo square was a super bonus

23 May -26 May 2022
Leaving Venice at sunset and cruise the eastern Italian cost until Brindisi and then crossed over to the east towards Corfu in Greece
We arrived two days before our first cruising guest would join so good time to clean and make the yacht pretty.

From Corfu traveling South with beautiful weather ,we explored the Ionian Islands from Ithaca to Cefelonia and Zakhintos.
We found extremely delightful anchorages in this part of Greece.
From Zakhintos we traveled around Peloponnese with one overnight stop in Methoni and directly to Hydra.
We spend 10 days of pleasant cruising around the Argolic gulf.
Finishing our cruises towards Athenes and prepare for some shipyard works ( see refit )

Athenes to Portofino
28 August - 17 September 2022
Finishing the shipyard in Athens were we spend 2 very hot months we were ready to deliver the yacht back to NW Italy ,
Weather in this time of year is wonderful We decided to go through the Corinth canal and make our last Greek landfall in Cefelonia Before heading to Messina and cruise up the West coast of Italy were we passed Stromboli , Capri , Elba and finally anchored for a couple of days in La Grazie for preparation of our next guest trip around Portofino.

Finishing a little cruise on the Italian coast and to Monaco we finished our season and now back in San Remo with preparations for some more refit works as we decided to check our rigging before more adventures ahead
